Teacher with Pupils

A Platform For Sharing and Collaboration

Christian Auclair, Lower Canada College

In an effort to support the current demand for online learning resources, education.ca is rolling out several tools that will facilitate access to e-learning resources and support the transition to a virtual environment.

Educators’ Peer-Reviewed e-Learning Resource Library

So as to facilitate sharing, education.ca invites educators to click on this submission form and share links to their favourite online lessons and resources.  These links may be to resources they themselves created and posted or something that they stumbled upon and found highly useful in class. These resources will then be classified by subject and grade level, building up a resource library to be published soon.

Parent and Student Resource Submissions

With many households suddenly finding themselves in a home schooling situation, students and parents have undoubtedly stumbled across some excellent learning resources, sites, tools and fun activities of their own. Feel free to submit your suggestions using this form.

Professional Development Support For Educators

For teachers seeking to create their own media-rich, interactive lessons with automated assessment tools, education.ca has posted an online workshop comprised of short video tutorials, though teachers are again invited to submit links to other freely available PD training opportutnities. The education.ca workshop focuses on the use of Google tools, as they are versatile and easy to master within a few minutes.
